Before starting with Anita, I was in a very difficult place. After a period of burnout, my self-confidence was gone. I even tried talkative therapy, but I felt I wasn’t really being listened to. When I met Anita, it was the first time I felt truly heard and not judged. That alone was life-changing. She helped me realize that it was my responsibility—and my right—to take care of myself first, instead of waiting for others to do it. That insight gave me so much freedom and self-love.

Physically, I also carried a lot of tension. My posture was closed, my shoulders tight, and I often felt pain in my neck and back. Through Anita’s guidance, I became aware of how my body reflects my emotions. With her practices, I learned how to open my chest, relax, and release that tension. One of the most powerful tools was visualizing a yellow light in my solar plexus. It became my safe space. Thanks to that, I even managed to face situations that used to trigger panic attacks, like crossing crowded stations or walking through tunnels.

 

Working with Anita also gave me practical tools I still use today. I discovered Yoga Nidra, which allows me to reset my mind and body in just a few minutes—I even use it during breaks at work now. She noticed I was breathing through my mouth and encouraged me to explore it further. Thanks to her, I discovered a structural issue with my nasal passages, and now, with simple support, I can breathe so much better. And even small things, like learning how my feet affect my posture, changed my daily life. Now I take care of my feet every evening, and I sleep deeply and peacefully.

 

The biggest highlight for me was the sense of safety. With Anita, I felt I could open up without fear. From that point, everything started to change. Today, I feel more confident at work, I take time for myself, and I carry tools with me that help me find balance, calm, and energy whenever I need them.

When I first contacted Anita, I didn’t even have a name for what I was going through—I just knew I wasn’t well. The past year had been incredibly hard: challenges with my family, stress at work, and despite seeking psychological help, I still felt completely empty inside. I had no energy, no focus, constant physical pains like headaches and tension in my shoulders, and emotionally I felt frustrated, fearful, and deeply unsatisfied. It was as if I had dug myself into a very deep hole with no ladder to climb out.

What helped me most was the flexibility to pace the sessions in a way that fit into my life. Sometimes we even paused for weeks, which gave me the time I needed to process while still feeling supported. The tools Anita shared, like the Balanced Life Wheel to break down overwhelming feelings into smaller, understandable parts, were incredibly useful. Her insights always struck right at the heart of things, and her written summaries after each session became an anchor for me. I still reread them even now, because they remind me of the steps I’ve taken and help me stay on track.

 

Through this work I’ve gained clarity and resilience. I’ve learned to stop blaming myself, to accept that I don’t have to be perfect, and to move forward with compassion when I stumble. I’ve also realized that my body is stronger than I thought, and that true healing isn’t about pushing through but about listening and creating balance.

 

Looking back, working with Anita has given me the strength to climb out of that hole. I now feel more grounded, more present, and better able to care for myself and others without losing myself in the process.

My yoga journey started 10 years ago with a focus on the physical body, but as I deepened my practice, I discovered the profound connection between body and mind.

 

This sparked a passion that led me to train as a yoga therapist, so I could offer a more individualised approach.

 

I now use my experience to guide clients through personalised sessions that prioritise their unique needs, helping them feel nurtured, empowered, and aligned on their wellness journey.
