Yoga Therapy
My yoga journey started 10 years ago with a focus on the physical body, but as I deepened my practice, I discovered the profound connection between body and mind.
This sparked a passion that led me to train as a yoga therapist, so I could offer a more individualised approach.
I now use my experience to guide clients through personalised sessions that prioritise their unique needs, helping them feel nurtured, empowered, and aligned on their wellness journey.

Intake Session
We’ll start with a comprehensive intake. I’ll ask you a range of questions about your physical health, mental well-being, and lifestyle to get a full understanding of your unique needs. This conversation helps me create a personalized yoga therapy plan tailored specifically to your body, mind, and life circumstances. By exploring your challenges and goals, we can develop a practice that supports you holistically, ensuring you feel safe and fully supported as we move forward together.

Physical & Breath Assessment
We’ll focus on a Physical and Breath assessment. I’ll evaluate your posture, joint range of motion, and identify any areas of pain or discomfort. We’ll also assess your breathing functionality to understand how it supports or hinders your overall well-being. This thorough evaluation allows me to tailor the yoga practices to your body’s specific needs, ensuring that each movement and breath feels safe and supports your healing and growth.

Sessions
The subsequent sessions will form the core of our work together, designed based on the insights from your intake, physical and breath assessment, and your personal wishes. While we’ll have a general plan in place, each session will be adapted to your needs on the day of the appointment. This flexibility ensures that your yoga practice stays aligned with how you’re feeling—physically, mentally, and emotionally—so that each session provides the right level of support and progress.
Each session lasts 90 minutes and
follows a structured, yet flexible flow:
Check-in
Check-in over a cup of tea: We’ll begin by discussing how you’re feeling, sharing feedback on previous sessions, and reflecting on any insights or progress in your daily life.
Practice
The session includes a combination of yoga postures, somatic movements, releasing practices, and breathing techniques, all tailored to your current needs. We’ll end the practice with a guided meditation in a restorative pose to help you fully relax and integrate the experience.
Check-out
Check-out: After the practice, we’ll take a few moments to share any sensations, insights, or "aha" moments. I’ll also give you some "homework" to continue the progress and maintain the connection between sessions.
Post-Session Follow up
After each session, you’ll receive an email with a summary of what we covered, along with a detailed description of your homework. This may include supportive materials such as PDF guides with stick figures illustrating the practices, as well as recordings of guided meditations to help you maintain and deepen your progress between sessions.
