If you suffer from back pain, you most likely have one or more of the following symptoms:

PHYSICAL STATE

  • Dull or sharp pain in the area between the lower ribs and the buttock, or in the neck, shoulders and shoulder blades area. 

  • Radiating pain in the legs and other parts of the body

  • Difficulties with staying seated, standing or lying down

  • Movement restrictions

ENERGETIC STATE

  • Holding the breath or painful breathing

  • Difficulties in digesting and bowel movements

  • Sleep issues

MENTAL AND EMOTIONAL STATE

  • Distress and frustation

  • Irritability

  • Difficulties to focus

  • Inability to work

  • Struggle to engage in social activities

In the majority of the cases, the energetic, mental and emotional state are not addressed by the conventional treatment for back pain which focuses mainly on the muscular-skeletal components of the pain.

Yoga therapy offers a series of practices based on the mind-body connection through which physical movements, breath work and stress and emotional release techniques are combined to support your entire being.

Each week, you will learn a physical and breathing technique that will help you release tension and stress while also working towards improving your emotional well-being. These techniques are specifically designed to be easily incorporated into your daily life, allowing you to start making positive changes towards the life you desire.

Small Group Sessions

The yoga therapy for back pain will be held in a small group setting (max. 6 people) so that each person can benefit from the full attention and care needed.
